Just looking for a little more information on Brigham Tea.

        1. What are the contraindications/drug and herb interactions?
        2. Can it be used internally or topically with allergy medications?
        3. How long would someone need to be off of the allergy medications (if it is a problem to do both) before using brigham tea? Would the medicine need to be totally out of the persons system before taking the herb?

I’m not aware of significant contraindications or drug interactions with Brigham tea (Ephedra viridids, E. nevadensis). I don’t know that it would have any antihistamine effects topically. It’s principally used internally. There isn’t a wait period between stopping a medication and starting Brigham tea.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thank you. I have used it topically on mosquito bites and it does help to take away the itch for a bit.

Thanks. I’ll have to try that. :0)
