My hubs got bromide poisoning and has battled with it for the last decade. Are there any herbs in particular that can help him with it or just doing an over all cleanse?

Sorry to hear that Karen. How was it diagnosed? And how did he get it?

There isn’t a specific herb to eliminate bromine. A general cleanse and having a look at the heavy metals formula (Bromine/bromide isn’t a heavy metal but some of those plants get rid of things that are hard to get rid of) might be a good idea.

It’s eliminated by the kidneys so if I had too much bromine in my body, I’d be drinking a lot, taking diuretic herbs and taking care of my kidneys with herbs like nettle seed, chamomile and Rehamannia (see Kidney Builder formula). Have a look at the Urinary Tract lessons.

Of course, you could manage lots of the symptoms with herbs to get some relief as well.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

He got it while deployed in the Navy.  They used Bromide aboard ship to clean out the water systems(Something about seawater desalinization) and there was an accident. It was diagnosed by a doctor in the Naval Medical center.  He seems to be working it out thru his skin sloughing off all over (kinda like a lizard) disconcerting to look at, and can be painful for him.  I have been wanting to gethim to do a cleanse. I will look at the heavy metals formula as suggested. thank you.
