        Hello all,

I am thrilled to be beginning this course. I took both the herbalist classes in the School of Traditional Skills this past Fall. I loved the solid, yet light hearted teaching style. Immediately afterward my husband badly broke his leg and I was able to implement what I had learned. The surgeon and PT both have marveled at his recovery that was aided by both wound poltice tincture and comfrey. On top of that experience, we have been amazed at the healing we have experienced using cramp bark for muscle spasms and menstrual cramping. And our whole family benefiting from the mullein and wild cherry tincture to get relief from persistent, non-productive through the night coughs. My kids call the tinctures “potions” and my 5 year old daughter says that she wants to be a healer like me when she grows up! We are all hooked on herbalism now. I can’t wait to soak in more knowledge and add more “potions” to my toolkit!
