I’m not quite sure yet if this is the case, but my goat has a swollen knee and a swollen hock. It is not seemingly causing pain. He is still walking around, running, and doing all the things that goats do, however, the swelling may be CAE which I understand is caused from a worm and causes arthritis and eventually will cause death. I have heard through other herbal sources that doses of garlic, black walnut hull and other supporting herbs like oregano, rosemary, etc… may help if not cure it or maintain it. I have also read that there is no known cure, so does anyone have any dealings with this? Hoping Doc Jones has a possible treatment. Also, have a goat with “wonky leg” I would like to help her with her pain, but also corrective brace maybe and stop the progression. Does anyone know anything about supporting this as well?
