My mother has been hit hard with a lot of digestive system health problems lately. She has thrush, potential stomach ulcers, and just had her gallbladder removed. I know that Calendula is great for all of these issues, but is it still alright for her to swallow the Calendula tea to help her stomach? Calendula helps the bile movement with her liver and gallbladder, but will it cause any problems with the gallbladder gone?

Calendula shouldn’t be an issue. Bile can leave the liver through the bile duct without the gallbladder being there.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
