Are all types of calendula/marigold medicinal? If not, which ones are?

Not all marigolds are Calendula. The plant most people know as “marigold” or French marigold is a completely different genus. What you want is Calendula officinalis. Any variety of that species will work.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Yes for French marigold too. 🙂

Does French Marigold have the same medicinal properties as Calendula Officinalis?

Or does it have different medicinal properties?

No, it does not. Read the article I linked to above for more information.

Does Calendula stop bleeding as well as shepherd’s purse and yarrow topically?

                  Is it a hemorrhagic internally?

I don’t have any experience trying that application.
