Doc, my dog needs to see a vet Monday, Tuesday at the latest. When will you be back from up north? Otherwise, who do you recommend in Twin Falls?

Here’s what’s going on: We thought she had a stroke: couldn’t stand up, listing over to one side, drooling, pupils completely dilated, rapid eye movements (nystagmus) breathing really fast and hard. It came on very suddenly. We tucked a pinch of ground yarrow and a baby aspirin in her cheek.

She has rallied, doing much better. We know she ‘s not going to die now. After practicing some “Google veterinary medicine” we now suspect she has vestibular disease. We realize vestibular disease is also serious and needs veterinary diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, are there any herbs we can give her? We got her some motion sickness tablets for her vertigo.

Please tell me you’re coming back soon!

I’ve used the Memory and Alertness formula on a number of stroke victims Canine and human with good outcomes.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
