Actually, the veterinarian we had prior to moving where we are now diagnosed my dog (an English Setter) with “fiber reactive colitis.” The problem, in a nutshell, is that her stools have always been “pudding cups.” Very loose and mushy, and difficult to clean up. I finally connected the problem to any food with grain in it, even rice. She does much better on grain free or even prey model/BARF. Anyway, we recently switched from their sweet potato based kibble to a rice based, simply because both dogs seemed to be getting tired of it and we thought they would like a change. And although my setter’s palate loves the new food, her intestines apparently do not. :face palm 2: When she gets these flares, I give her a blend of mallow, parsley, mint, and hops. Is this a good combo, do you think, or is there something else I should add or use instead? Thanks. Oh, and as soon as this bag of food gets eaten up, we are going back to sweet potato!

Those herbs are fine. I like chamomile for gut stuff as well.

Some bentonite clay might firm things up a little.

The Dire Era formula is good for firming things up.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

Thank you. Ill look into it. I still have some chamomile from last year I can add to the mix. My seeds didn’t sprout this year.
