It’s going on 2 mo. now that I’ve been dealing with a cat over grooming and creating skin lesions. He first started on his front leg and I didn’t catch it until it was quarter-sized and bleeding. Then I found multiple welts and scabs on his back legs and tail. I’ve had him in a soft, wide e-collar for about a month, but it really just slows him down. Vet thought it was stress grooming at first with the new kitten I got and then flea allergies, but it does seem like he’s reacting to something more. I never saw fleas but treated everything naturally. For his skin I’ve tried collodial silver products, then calendula tincture topically. This past week I’ve added in quercetin with  bromelain and nettles in his food, which I thought was bringing the swelling down, but it’s so hard to tell because he’s often licking the same spots again and creating new wounds on his legs. Are there other things I can try to bring down skin inflammation and/or calm his aggressive licking habit?
