Hello!  New student here!  Can’t wait to learn so much. While I am getting used to the website I am very curious what remedies to use for feline friends who are urinating blood, anywhere other than in the litter box?
        Thank you!
        Sarah

Hey Sarah! Welcome to the school. We had two cats that had bladder infections. They apparently urgently needed to go to the bathroom as they never could make it to the litter box. One of them conveniently used the bathtub as a litter box which made it easy to observe blood in her urine turning it kind of pink. And it made for easy clean-up. Anyway, this was pre herbal learning so we took them to the vet. Since then we thought we had a cat getting a bladder infection so we added dried powdered cranberry to her meal. She had no more problems. Whether we caught it in the early stages or it was nothing to begin with we won’t know though.

Sounds like cystitis. Cats with urinary infections will often refuse to use a litter box because last time they were in there it hurt. Get a new box and put it in a slightly different spot.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
