We have a cat who will eat herbs mixed in her food. She developed a swollen nose, and we have been giving her oregon grape root in her cat food. Wondering if she could also have plantain? We made a plantain spray, and it seemed to be working, but spraying her in face is not very nice, and she growls when we try to wipe it on. Can we feed her plantain, or give her plantain tea internally? I think it is ok, but would feel better knowing so.

The oregon grape root helped. I also gave her chickweed tea. swelling looks much better, if not resolved. Will keep her going for a bit to make sure it’s all resolved.
