Cataracts in Shih-Tzu

Is there any effective herbal treatments for cataracts for my 9 year old Shih-Tzu. I know surgery is an option but cannot afford it. Thanks. :confused:

There is a pharmaceutical eye drop that purports to resolve them called optimmune. I haven’t tried it.
