        Hi Doc,

In the David Case Study lecture, you mentioned that Pyrantel is a good, safe wormer for goats.

I don’t like using chemical wormers unless I have to with our goats, and in those cases I’ve pretty much only used Safeguard and Eprinex. Thankfully, parasite issues don’t come up terribly often, and overall I’ve been able keep them in check with herbal wormers, but as you mentioned, there are sometimes situations when they are not enough. In your experience, do you still consider Pyrantel to be the safest and most effective wormer for goats?

        Thanks so much,

        Sydney

P.S. I learned so much from that case study lesson, thank you for putting it together!

It’s quite good for roundworms and is very safe.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
