While camping in Island Park last week I saw several Coral Root. They tend to be growing in twos or threes. One spot had about 12 stocks with pods already. Most I saw had the flowers still. Something Michael Moore doesn’t say in his book is that Coral Root’s stock is sticky to the touch. It’s super beautiful and stands out because there’s nothing like it growing nearby. You can spot it from the dirt roads, at a distance. Just thought I’d let you know in case anyone reading this needs some. There’s not a lot in one place but there are multiple places with a little.
The place I saw it is on road 343, Fair Use Canyon.
