        Hi,

I very much like drinking Dandelion coffee. Especially the one manufactured in Germany by Cotswold Health UK.

It is roasted root, that I been using as coffee substitute for years. It helps with liver congestion, and so on.

Last week, friend noticed that I drink the coffee in full, i.e. without use of strainer to remove the ground coffee at base of cup.

The recommended method is to grind the dried root, add boling water, strain and drink. No mention of “avoid consuming the coffee root ground sediment”.

I need to consume all of it, along with the remaining powder/sediment of this coffee. 4 cups a day.

Are there any official cautions/warnings, avoid consuming the dried roots. They been helping me alot, with my heavy alcohol drinking. Want to get maximum benefit, from it all, not just the coffee water, but the whole thing.

Thank you in advance for helpful comments / advice.

        Cheers.

I wouldn’t worry at all about ingesting the root solids.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
