Hi Dr Jones,
My mom was told yesterday that the nerve in her tooth had died. ( an old filling had failed.)Her options are a root canal or extraction. She does not know what to do as she has read about bacteria being entombed in a tooth that has had a root canal. It is a large molar close to the front and she does not want to lose it, but she is concerned about long term health effects. She is in good health and does not have any autoimmune disease . She eats organically and she is willing to do a parasite / metal toxin purge ongoing to maintain her health. What are your thoughts on root canals ? Thanks so much for your time !
