Diarrhea Due to Cancer Treatment

My husband has been fighting colon cancer for three years.  He has endured two surgeries and many rounds of chemo.  Each time he was able to bounce back, but the last surgery left him with severe diarrhea (due to large amounts of antibiotics).   I have tried prebiotics, probiotics, kefir water and kombucha to  gain control of the situation, but to no avail.  Does anyone know of any herbal remedies that I could try.  He is off all cancer medications and currently taking only high blood pressure meds. I know that nothing is gauranteed, but all help would be appreciated. lBessings everyone.

Hi Lisa,

In addition to the prebiotic and probiotic approach, marshmallow is wonderfully soothing and healing to the gut. I’d prefer the powder or cold infusion to the tincture for that sort of issue.
