I was doing some reading on comfrey and got to wondering… Does anyone know if comfrey or any other herb will help the body heal severe disc space narrowing in the lower back?
I doubt very much that comfrey will stop disk space narrowing though it may strengthen the structures some. Echinacea may also help as the disks are made mostly of hyaluronic acid the production of which Echinacea stimulates. Neither of these will likely reverse what’s already done.

Thanks. Maybe echinacea can help stop the deterioration. I’ve tried to track down what discs are made of but it’s been vague. Do you know if collagen is part of the disc? If so, I suppose bone broth would also help.

Disks have lots of collagen in them.
