Hey Doc, do you have any plans to write another book, but pertaining to basic holistic pet care? There are a couple of holistic pet care books out, but not nearly enough.

Everyone says I should. Maybe I should. Do you think I should? Maybe I should…Should I?

Just this morning at 5 am, when I was writing modules for the herb school and fielding phone calls about a dog with diarrhea (is that really a 5 a.m. emergency? ) I was saying to myself how much I wish I had another project. My Colleague who wants me to expand the herb school into a complete naturopath program said I needed one too. And then there’s Boise State U. that wants me to help teach a class on alternative medicine to nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants. Hmmm…

I wrote The HomeGrown Herbalist in about three days. As soon as I get another three days, I’ll write an herb book for critters. 🙂

In the mean time, I’m covering vet stuff in the learning modules for the school when there’s a difference.

          Doc

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

            WE are TRADITIONAL.

            THEY are ALTERNATIVE!

You and I know that. But the doctors in charge of the course don’t. I’m going to break it to them gently.

On another day, I’ll gently let them know that “snake oil” was made from Echinacea root and is actually quite effective for preventing the tissue destruction from the hyaluronidase in snake venom. Baby steps to enlightenment. 🙂
