What herbs would be appropriate for pain and to keep the wound clean from infection on the shoulder of a dog shot by a BB gun? Also what would aid in drawing out the BB? Thanks!

Are BBs magnetic?  Maybe you can hold a neodymium magnet over it, to help pull it out? Or are they embedded so deeply that it would cause more damage and pain?  Then, I would treat it like a puncture wound.  Irrigate it really well with saline, then follow up with some plantain.  Plantain would be really good for those types of wounds.  But NOT comfrey — remember what Doc keeps telling us about comfrey and puncture wounds.

What Michelle said. You could also do some antibiotic and immune supporting herbs internally. Look at INFXN BugBuster and Immunity support for ideas. They’re in the Formulas section in the Infectious Disease Formulas section.

I honestly wouldn’t worry about the BB. They rarely cause an issue.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
