Dog with Oral Melanoma

My 14 year old chihuahua mix has been diagnosed with an oral melanoma tumor.

We are going to have the tumor removed but are looking for ways to support the body afterwards and hopefully help stall a recurrence, which we are told will be inevitable.

Is there anything systemically to give, but also specifically within the mouth on the site that could help encourage healthy cells and discourage cancer cells from forming?

Any help would be appreciated. I am already using many products purchased from this site.
