I’m wondering if anyone knows if sweet wormwood is safe for small children and if it is, what would be the dose? Would it be based on weight? I have a big, beautiful sweet wormwood plant I’ll be harvesting soon, and I’d like to know if it’s safe for my granddaughters.
Also, is this plant something a child or adult could take prophylactically? Maybe once a week through the fall and winter to help prevent cold and flu viruses? Thank you!

ELderberry would be a better choice for little kids as a prophylactic. I’d use the Artemisia annua in kids over 5 if they thought they were exposed to something bad but not as a daily preventative.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
