I am wanting to use stinging nettles as an antihistamine, but I am also wanting to speed up my digestion. Nettles is listed as having antacid properties. How can I take this herb without experiencing the undesirable effects of slowed digestion? Is it best to take it on an empty stomach? I know you said not to take herbs on an empty stomach, but I have been experiencing digestive issues and the last thing I need to do is slow things down.
