I’ve been hearing different things about turmeric lately. One is that the majority of turmeric is imported and during that process it goes through radiation that is detrimental to it. Has anyone else heard this? I also hear that it is avoidable by buying organic turmeric, and that this is much more medicinal.

Obviously, I’m sure that growing your own in the best option. Although it seems that it is not most suited for our climate, I am hearing of some people being successful. And now I’m even hearing a turmeric that is more potent that the regular variety and it is only commonly available to those who grow it for the most part. Here’s a link about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4njSmOA86k  As a side note, the speaker in the video is my brother. 🙂

Thanks Elena. I’ll have to look into that.

Sorrry about that folks.  I tried to edit my last by removing the link I sent.  After I realize it was a blue turmeric and not regular.
