StudentI am excited to be here and look forward to getting started. I heard Dr. Jones over the past weekend at a conference and knew I wanted to get registered…but in the first 12 hours after returning to Montana I got calls that my brother had an accident resulting in a break in his neck and my Dad had a minor heart attack 4 hours later and is currently in surgery for a triple bypass.
I am happy that I learned about Dr Jones and all his tinctures etc cuz they may come in handy in their recoveries

StudentI’m sorry to hear about the recent medical troubles for your family. I too am a new student and excited to learn how to use herbs in daily life and for acute care. Hope your brother and dad have successful recoveries!

StudentLisa, so sorry that your family is struggling.  I bet you will learn several ways to help them as you  continue in this class.  I have been learning from Doc for several months now and and beginning to get it (a little!). I’ve started growing and drying herbs, making tinctures, and have had a few opportunities to help some family and friends with minor issues and have been so excited to experience the power of plants for myself.  Blessing to you!

StudentLisa, sorry to hear about your brother and father, I hope they are both improving. It is exciting to hear the enthusiasm of other new students. I, too, attended workshops led by Doc Jones this past weekend. I am excited to learn to use the “weeds” I’ve been pulling from my garden for years. I want to start an herb garden and learn to preserve what I grow and harvest to promote my own health and that of my family.
