Hi does anyone have any experiences to share involving persistent chalazions?

I have never had a chalazion but I recently helped someone with a skin tag on their eye that was causing a lot of pain and discomfort and related to a lot of the symptoms that a chalazion would have. I recommended Castor Oil and within a few days it was already shrinking and there was no more pain for the person . Maybe Castor Oil could help ?

Did the castor oil make its way into the eye? Or was application just topically? Anything applied to a chalazion would also make its way into the eye as well. What are your thoughts? TIA

The castor oil was applied topically on the skin tag as the skin tag was a few inches away from the eyeball( it wasn’t put directly in the eye). I have heard that cold compresses can also help.
