Fatty tumors on dogs

My Fur Baby (9 years old) has 3 rather large fatty tumors, 2 on his sternum and one at the base of his tail. The Vet says they are benign and not dangerous unless they become hard and unmovable. Is there anything I can do short of surgery?

I’m not aware of anything herbal that’s helpful. I rarely remove them unless they become a mechanical problem.

I have heard of using frankincense essential oil topically on fatty tumors to gently draw them out. I don’t have experience with it, but it may be worth looking into.
