Hello all, I am a homemaker. I love cooking and desserts are my favorite. Who wouldn’t like cakes? My husband dies for desserts.

But since he was diagnosed with diabetes, I am very particular about his diet.

These days he follows a strict diet sans desserts. His parents are also diabetic and I guess it is hereditary. He became obese too.

In his busy schedule, exercise and workouts are not possible and I was searching for other options. Last month, he met one of his friends and his friend told him about the 8 weeks blood sugar diet. We started it together but I was a bit worried about the consequences of the diet. The diet really worked and the result is amazing. He lost 5 pounds and got a normal blood sugar level.

I am really happy for him and was thinking about making a smoothie recipe which wouldn’t affect his health anymore. I searched online and found this Cinnamon Bun Smoothie which is less than a quarter of calories, with less fat content. The ingredients are a frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, ground cinnamon( which is the main ingredient), vanilla extract, pure maple syrup and some cinnamon sticks for garnishing. I have chosen some healthy ingredients and cinnamon from the best quality herbs and spices. I hope you can also try it for your dear ones. Inviting suggestions and more healthy smoothie recipes. Enjoy…
