Hi all, I just spent this lovely 4th of July making all kinds of salves from my stash of infused oils. I had dried calendula and plantain and comfrey that I have been infusing in olive oil, (usually 8 weeks-ish) My daughter (also enrolled) says that she puts fresh leaves in oil and infuses for 10 days. I have never seen this written or read this anywhere. Can we use fresh herbs and skip the wait time?

I don’t know if fresh VS dried changes the time it takes to infuse. Most herb books say you need to infuse 4-8 weeks for anything, oils or tinctures, but Doc teaches that the herbs are pretty much done by 2 weeks, so that’s what I do with everything.
