Doc’s powdered Ginkgo says 1-2 teaspoons daily which would be approximately 2-4 grams according to my scales.  The only reason I’m asking is all the supplements for ginkgo that are available or the “web mis-information” states not to use more than 240mg daily.  My question is WHY are they dosing/recommending such a low amount?  Maybe because they want to keep us dumbed down to be able to manage us better LOL!?  Anyway – guidance would be welcome.  In lieu of answers forthcoming, we’re going to go with Doc’s sage advice of 1-2 teaspoons (2-4 grams) per day.  He’s way smarter than the internet {big grin}!  And a little of that “smartness” is why we are taking ginkgo!

          1. I’m new to this school so maybe I will have a different opinion later on, but what you commented is very true. However, we are all a little different and I for one have a sensitive system. I usually start on the lower end of the recommended amount until I see how my body reacts. We can often use the higher amount for a few days but then need to back off to the lower amount as it saturates our system. I try to listen to my body and react accordingly.
