Tsunami has had a bad eye for over 2 months. I thought it would be easy to cure by using first aid antibiotic ointment. Maybe it was to old, but it did nothing. I tried squirting diluted first aid honey into the eye. No real results. I decided I’d better get serious. Read on line to try Terramycin ointment and have been applying it at least three times per day for almost a week. It seems somewhat better but is not healed. Three days ago my husband said she may have something in her eye and suggested I try washing it out with saline water. The only way to accomplish this is with his help : ). We’ve been “washing” her eye out once a day since then. It is better but still not completely. Her whole eye socket seems somewhat swollen. My son suggested she may need an oral antibiotic. Thats when I remembered you and wonder if you have any suggestions.

I am not a vet and not nearly the herbalist that Patrick is but if I wanted an herbal oral to control bacteria I would use INFXN – Bug Buster.

An eye infection that won’t resolve with multiple antibiotics is likely due to a foreign body in the eye. I’d have a vet look at her then get back to us with what they find.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
