I use Firefox on Linux platform.

This error appeared after I was successfully using the site yesterday (or the day before) and it continues today.

I can get to the forums but none of the schools pages.

The rest of my computer works including video platforms.

I guess I didn’t know you were on a Google platform at all…hm

Is there some update I missed on your side?

I don’t know, getting frustrated.

If you can help, thanks.

Sue Scaccia

Hey There!

Thanks so much for posting in the HGH School Bug Forum! We’ll try our hardest to get on this as soon as possible!

Before an Admin can reply to your post, you must make sure your bug report has the following Elements:

1. Did you include a link to your bug? (required)
2. Did you include info on the make/model of the device you’re using?
3. (required) Did you specify which Web Browser you are using?
4. (required) Did you provide a detailed description of the Bug? (required)
5. Did you add any other relevant details? (Optional)

If you checked all those boxes with your post, you are good to go! Somebody will get back to you when it’s fixed, or if they need more info 🙂 If you forgot any of those items, no worries! Just reply back to this comment with anything you missed and you’ll be good to go! Thanks for reporting, you get extra brownie points today!

Important Note: If you are using the Brave Browser or one of the other “Privacy-Focus-Chrome-Reskin” Browsers (that are in my opinion borderline malware, running cryptocurrency garbage in the background, and are extremely resource intensive and run by for-profit corporations which somehow definitely don’t make money off your data…)

PLEASE reconsider.

These browsers block the core tech of websites that have user-based content and are not and will never be compatible by default. If you’re going to use it, you’ll need to learn, understand, and configure the settings for it on your own as that is outside the scope of our support.

If you are interested in a privacy based browsing experience, I recommend Firefox which is NOT built on the same tech controlled by google (that Brave and all the others are).

Thank You 🙂
Hmm the site is fully compatible with Firefox and Linux, and we aren’t using any google service at all except for PDF storage.

No changes have been made in the last week.

Please provide a screenshot of the error you are seeing.

Try the following:
Is the issue persistent between devices?
Is the issue persistent between Browsers?
Is the issue persistent between networks?
Is the issue persistent after clearing your cache?
is the issue persistent if you navigate via an incogneto window?

A 403 Error means the request was blocked, but because we have no functionality on the site to block in that manner it leads me to suspect something has gone wrong with your computer, browser or Operating system.

Another thing that might help is disabling/configuring extensions you may have installed in Firefox.

For me I use Firefox and several blocking/filtering extensions (UblockOrigin mainly) and I quite often need to whitelist websites that use dynamic content.
