Growing Skullcap (scutellaria lateriflora)

Greetings. I’ve grown scutellaria lateriflora in the past. I seem to remember it coming up a Once second year in my garden. I live in a cold zone 5, northern hill, high elevation.

Does skullcap ever over winter or reseed itself in such a climate?

Looking for someone with experience growing this species. Thank you.

I have no problem overwintering it in Twin Falls Idaho.
