Use the high octane stuff.
For the ratio, it depends on how the herb is processed. If fresh, the ratio needs to be 1:2 or so. If dry, it can be 1:4 o r 5. All depends on how thirsty the herb is or how much it takes to cover. Dry herb can be ground up some, fresh cannot and it takes up a bit of room.
Bottom line is if it is for your own use you just need to get it to where the herb is covered. Then all you need to do is figure out the dosage that works.
