The  leaves on my beautiful Ginko Biloba tree have started to turn golden yellow.  I am going to harvest quite a bit for myself and other family members.  Is it necessary/beneficial to wash the leaves before drying them in paper bags ??

Following conversation as this is one tree I want to plant and use. Can you tell me about your situation? Did you plant it, how big was it and is it now? I understand they are very slow growing. Etc etc. They are beautiful trees. Also, where abouts are you located? I am about 50 miles east of south Kansas City in Missouri, zone 6b I think.

            Hello from Ohio!

i know this is an old post but i only rinsed visible dirt and allowed them to dry on a separate cooling rack of sorts!

            it seemed to do great!😌
