Recently I had a stray kitten that was not eating and had a little diarrhea. I was able to research what to do. I made some homemade formula and fed it two feedings, and gave it a few syringes of of water. The next morning I was excited to see it eating off his mother again. I think just those few feedings and a little water the kitten seems to have bounced back and is gaining weight again. I also learned that if you twist the back of their neck and the neck does not bounce back but stays twisted then they are dehydrated.
