I am a new student, anxious to learn! I am planning my garden for the spring and hope to add several more medicinal herbs.  I currently have bee balm, lemon balm, echinacea, chamomile, calendula and peppermint, along with basil, thyme, rosemary, chives, garlic, onion, sage, parsley and St. John’s wort. Running out of space so I need to choose carefully.

Wow that is a lot!  I too am getting started on growing some of my own herbs.  I do primarily like to focus on my local wild and medicinal plants and am just amazed by what we already have here.

Hello! I just joined the school after watching a few of Doc Jones’ videos on YouTube. I love his teaching style and added bits of humor 😉 It makes learning more enjoyable! I’ve been on a ‘journey to wellness’ for the past 3 years trying to find the root cause of my ear, jaw and neck pain – mostly due to stress from running 2 businesses amongst other things. I’m working on slowing down, and reducing my stress which includes gardening and learning about herbs! I love learning and am excited to be enrolled in the School of Botanical Medicine.

I just started gardening last fall – I’m in zone 8B. I’m looking forward to incorporating herbs into my garden this year as well. So many to choose from!
