Hello Dawn! I’m brand new here and don’t have much experience yet, but I live in ABQ and am happy to join you in this journey! We have a lot of what I think is wild mullein stalks growing nearby (very fuzzy leaves) that I’m looking forward to using, if indeed that is what it is, especially now that you say it’s such a seasonal ally. The juniper pollen is atrocious in the spring, and the chamisa in the fall. A few months ago I planted two Phoenecian mulleins within our landscaped yard, and one immediately grew the most beautiful white and red flowered stalk. Those leaves are quite a bit smoother, and I wonder about the differences between varieties and medicinal efficacy. I have so very much to learn! Thank you for your post!
