Hi Everyone,
I’m a new student here and really looking forward to soaking up all the knowledge I can. Consider me the proverbial sponge! I was made aware of Dr. Jones and his school when my husband (Lee) and I attended the Modern Homesteading Conference last year in Coeur d’Alene, ID. We are ‘older’ new homesteaders just getting started. We are working on growing our own veggies and herbs, and relying more on local resources for healthy food options. I’m not brand new to herbals and their uses, but I still consider myself a novice. I’m so looking forward to learning with all of you!

Welcome Laurel! My wife and I were at that conference too, it was so good! I am going to try and plan a student get together for next year’s conference. There are quite a few of us in the area!
