Hi. My name is Julie McCormick. I’m a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from TN and see the harm that polypharmacy can cause in my older patients. I live on a farm and started researching and foraging over a year ago. HGH Guide to medicinal weeds was one of the first books I purchased and have been hooked ever since. I now have a pretty good apothecary of tinctures, powders, and teas. I hope to be able to mix my medical knowledge with herbal knowledge and be able to provide safe holistic care with less side effects of medications. (And be able to treat my animals and family with the medicinal plants growing all around me!). I’m so excited to be a part of this class!
