Finally Getting officially started. I have been reading books, and growing culinary and medicinal herbs for many years. I have a mostly wooded lot, which deters me from growing a proper vegetable garden. But the herbs seem to prosper here near the Appalachian. I have jars and jars of herbs I’ve dried and don’t know what to do with them except make tea. Tried 2 other schools and you know what they say? Third time’s a charm. My ultimate goal is to learn about medicinals and wild foods that are native to my specific area that do the same thing as herbs say from China or India. And I’m sure you’re going to teach us. Looking forward to it.
I started just after Christmas I wanted a school that told me why the herbs work and how to formulate formulas to help friends and family. I love every thing I have learned so far hope you find what your looking for too

Hello, from Washington County! I just joined, too. I finished Rooted Medicine Circle in November, which was great, but I wanted a program that was a bit more technical and medical. Can’t wait to get started! Trying to familiarize myself with the site right now.
