Hello! I first learned of Doc Jones and the Homegrown Herbalist through YouTube. My degree is in sustainable and environmental development and I grew up with a mother who was a master gardener. I’ve been an environmental and plant educator in and out of botanical gardens throughout the years (though not recently). I grew up in southeastern Ohio, but have lived in coastal North Carolina and have settled down these past 12 years with my husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs, guinea pig, fish and snail in western Kentucky. As a person who has always kept a culinary herb garden, I am constantly enthralled by learning both the medicinal properties of plants and their many applications. I am happy to have found a learning platform that honors that science and application. I’m excited to begin this learning journey!
