Hello, new student from North Idaho

Hi I’m Scott and I live in Rathdrum, Idaho with my wife and our two sons. We have a 17 month old and a one week old newborn. I am a software engineer by profession.

We attended the Homesteading Conference in Coeur d’Alene a couple of years ago and saw Doc Jones and really enjoyed his teaching style. I’m interested in studying herbalism to support my own health and my families and however else God decides to use those skills.

We have almost 2 acres and I’m very interested in starting an herb garden on our property and being self-sufficient in general.

I have 6 weeks of paternity leave and I decided now was a good time to take the jump and start on the course! Thank you!

Nice to meet you! It’d be great to meet some other aspiring herbalists, though I’ll have to give my wife a little time first with our newborn 😂. Also, will you be attending the homesteading conference in June? We went the first year but did not attend last year, but I’m thinking about it again this year.
