StudentAvoid junk food and especially fast foods. In fact, avoid restaurants for awhile. Their food is laden with extra fats and sodium. Eat a lot of leafy greens. Spinach is a super substitute for lettuce. Drink lots of water, no soda. And WALK. Everywhere. And not just a slow, aimless stroll either– WALK like you’re late for a very important appointment, and the sky will fall if you don’t get there in time. Get your heart pumping! If you do all that, you ought to reach your goal in about two months. Good luck!

My son lost 100+ pounds by reducing portions, eating on a schedule (not after 7 is all I remember) and some weight lifting. Some treadmill work too. Don’t know how long it took him.

I think it maybe should take long time to do that.

Homestead InstructorI think losing weight is a great idea. I’d recommend not getting you belly pierced though. It’s all very cool and trendy now but fashion changes pretty quickly and when you’re thirty, you’ll likely think it was a dumb idea.
When someone comes to me looking for a job and they’re covered with tattoos or have so many piercings that they look like they’ve been smooching a tackle box, it takes a lot more effort for them to convince me they are worth hiring. Don’t put yourself at a disadvantage in the workplace. Most people that have jobs to give are fuddy duddies.
🙂 Now, for the weight loss…
What you want to do is make sure your proteins, carbs and fats are balanced every time you eat. So a typical meal would be a protein serving the size of your palm, a fat serving the size of you thumb, and two big handfuls of green carbs. Avoid white, starchy carbs. Your body thinks they are cotton candy.
Do the same when you snack. So, instead of eating just an apple, eat a few nuts and a little cheese with it. ThIs will keep glucagon (the fat-burning hormone) high and insulin (the fat-creating hormone) low which is the proper relationship and will lead to the loss of excess weight.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.

It did not take him long at all. 6-8 months is all. You don’t want to lose weight too fast either. That is hard on the body and causes rebound: the weight comes right back on.

I thought I am who are pretty careful about what they eat and they’re still prone to gaining weight. I would try to control the diet.
