:scared: I have done a search, but did not find anything that would help specifically. I am hoping someone (Doc Jones) will see this & give me some idea’s.*Not looking for medical advice, as I know this can not be done.
Thanks to Covid & their “vaccine” for it, my husband’s health has gone to
:barf: & I’m grasping for any sort of solution, as the pharmaceuticals (&/or Dr’s) are not solving the issue.So ….. major problem is his stomach is inflamed & therefore, not processing food on a normal/regular basis. He’s got an Ulcer that’s “starting” & has a Hiatal Hernia, that may or may not still be an issue, he’s dropped a ton of weight in a short amount of time. He’s constipated more often then not & dehydrated probably enough that his doctor should put him on an IV or 3 to help. He’s also dealing with arthritis pretty much head to toe & is losing cartilage in his lower back, pretty much gone in his knees. And in major pain that pain killers & steroid shot in his back has not stopped. The shot helped reduce it some. But he can’t sleep at night.
Now, unfortunately there’s not a miracle herb, at least not that I’m aware of. So, is there something that he can use to help with the stomach inflammation. He is on Pharmaceutical’s, the milk of magnesia & other similar stuff hasn’t helped reduce the stomach acid that is supposedly causing the issue. But I’d like to start here (stomach), as I know that’ll help change some of the other issue’s.

Turmeric
Turmeric is a yellow powder made from a flowering plant. It adds flavor and color to sweet and savory dishes and teas.
Its main ingredient, curcumin, has anti-inflammatory properties. It has long played a role in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. It may help with OA, RA, and other arthritic conditions.
Turmeric is available:
as a powdered spice to add to dishes
in tea bags
as supplements that are taken by mouth
More studies into the safety and effectiveness of turmeric are needed. The NCCIHTrusted Source notes that it’s likely safe for most adults, although high doses or long-term use may result in gastrointestinal upset.
Willow bark
Willow bark is an ancient treatment for pain and inflammation. You can use it either as a tea or in tablet form.
Some researchTrusted Source says it may help relieve joint pain related to OA and RA. However, results have been conflicting, and more studies are needed. Also, it may not be safe for everyone.
Common side effects include:
stomach upset
high blood pressure
an allergic reaction, especially if you have an allergy to aspirin
stomach ulcers and bleeding in the case of an overdose
You should ask your doctor before using willow bark, especially if you’re using blood thinners or have a stomach ulcer. Do not take it if you’re allergic to aspirin.
Green tea

You can take green tea as:
a beverage
powder (matcha) for sprinkling on food or adding to smoothies

People have long used ginger in traditional medicine to treat nausea, but you can also use it for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and pain in the joints and muscles.
The authors of one 2016 review article believe that, in the future, ingredients in ginger could form the basis of a pharmaceutical treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. It could not only help manage symptoms but also help prevent bone destruction.
Here are some ways of consuming ginger:
Make tea by infusing tea bags or fresh ginger in boiling water for 5 minutes.
Add powdered ginger to baked goods.
Add powdered ginger or fresh ginger root to savory dishes.
Grate fresh ginger onto a salad or stir fry.
Check with a doctor before increasing your intake of ginger, as it can interfere with some medications, such as warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner.

Thank you Tory for your suggestions. He’s allergic to aspirin, so not sure if it’d be good to try. His stomach seems to be sensitive to spice, so not sure about using ginger. I have been adding Turmeric to some of our foods & I bought some in capsule form (he doesn’t take it). I haven’t tried green tea yet.
He is taking Marshmallow Root, but definitely needs something more. I don’t know if he needs to drink it more often or something more to add to it. He’s a terrible patient, I’m suppose to read his mind & know his symptoms or what works or isn’t. He’s on a ton of crap that doesn’t seem to work & doesn’t want to take more. So, I may have to turn everything into a tea or smoothie, but since I can’t be at work with him ….. still looking for the miracle. :yahoo: 🙄 :boggle:
Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll look at adding some of this to what I’m trying to get him to take now. :LOL:

Since they don’t have full head control if they turn their heads face down into the mattress they can suffocate
