I found a great bag for my herbal medicin kit. I couldn’t find ones I liked in the regular stores (Wal-Mart, Target etc.) I went looking for something suitable in of all places a hardware store. The Voyager brand 15″ tool bag I found at Harbor Freight works very well. It even has side pockets inside that will hold the bottled tinctures and then the powdered herb containers fit wonderfuly in the bottom and there is even room left on the outside for additional items.

          Thanks for sharing. 🙂

          Is it this one?

That looks like the one, but I only paid about $8.50 at Harbor Freight here in Salt Lake.

I bought the bag linked to above (changed to the Harbor Freight site) for my wildcrafting bag.

Can we now talk about WHAT GOES INTO THE BAG?

One would need to be aware of their own chronic situations and include those items.

I am talking about ACUTE / EMERGENCY situations that would need to be dealt with while away from home.

We’ve been putting a lot of these together and travel with one ourselves. Covers the bases pretty well.

Wish we could get a list of the ingredients for an idea of a bug out / portable med kit.

                  Is one available?

                  The link above has expired.

Yes, we have done some herd cutting recently. Go to our product pages and look at the kits we currently have available. We have updated several of the kits to include more formulas and more of an emphasis on tinctures.

For a really small kit try our Travel/First Aid 8 kit:

A larger kit would be our Ammo First Aid kit:

There are others including our Ammo 20/4 and larger kits.
