I see on Silver Lining Herbs formulas for horses and cats. Are cows similar to horses or is that something entirely different.
Our family has 2 milk cows and a six month old calf and would like to know how to use herbs with them. Has anyone had
experience with cows and herbs?

I was a dairy vet for many years. Using herbs on cows was always logistically difficult because of the feeding practices. I did have some limited experiences all of which were positive. I’ve also used herbs (Silver Lining stuff) on my milk goats with good success. Use the horse stuff and dose them like horses.

Don't use herbs or combine herbs with medications or use them during lactation or pregnancy without talking with your healthcare provider.
