My husband battles depression. Are there any herbs besides Pot that might help him?

St Johns Wort is probably your number 1 go to herb for depression, although it does interact with pharmaceuticals so make a note of that. If you don’t have that available, lemon balm is incredibly easy to grow and has a history of “lifting one’s spirits” and I would tend to agree.

Sorry your husband has to go through that, it can be really tough. There are also some other things outside of herbs that can help. Some things that have helped me has been journaling and specifically journaling specific things I am thankful for has helped tons, as well as just getting out into nature and spending time around lots of trees.

Thank you. He just got passionate about running. However, eventhoigh he is not out of shape if he runs in the morning then all through the day at work, even sitting his heart stays above 100. Sometimes 112 and he tingles and goes numb. He spent 3 hours in the ER 2 days ago and they couldn’t find anything wrong so sent him home. Anti anxiety meds didn’t make the tingling and numbness go away either. He just wants to run, but I don’t want it to kill him. He does have an appointment to see a chiropractor.
