StudentHello,
I’m a new student and happy to be here! I’ve been diagnosed with CHF and CKD. I have had lymphedema in my feet, legs, thighs and abdomen for many years now. I would like to find natural remedies that would help with the lymphedema but not affect the CHF and CKD.
Thanks!

StudentHey there, and welcome! I’m pretty sure there is a formula in the shop that can help you, but off the top of my head, I believe cleavers, plantain, and dandelion (both root and leaf) would be very good for you, and would not cause any additional harm. *Remember to consult your physician regarding any and all herbal supplements or remedies you intend to take, to cross-check for contraindications specific to your treatment plan.*

StudentTopic AuthorHi Michelle and thank you for the welcome! I appreciate your response and will look further into these specific plants. I assume that I could also use these same plants to make a lotion that would be beneficial to the skin.

StudentYes, I think making a lotion would be a marvelous idea! Maybe add a little mallow root to that too.

StudentMy sister has suffered with lymphedema for years and recently started taking the lymphatic support formula. This combined with lymphatic massage is the only thing that has helped her legs go down. It is slow progress but is definitely progress and she is thrilled to find something to help. Her nurses that wrap her legs (3 times/week) have been very impressed with her sudden progress and have asked what she is doing. The compression wraps have been able to keep her legs from getting larger (with constant wraps) but haven’t been able to get any reduction until now. Hopefully it can help you too!
