Hi! Are there any herbs that I can feed a horse or pigs that can kill flies in the larvae stage in the manure?
If not, then what is a good long lasting herbal fly repellent? Especially for biting gnats. My horse is covered in them!

I can’t help with the herb side of things but introducing dung beetles and making sure you aren’t using drenches that harm them or earthworms is a good start. I’m not sure where you are but I’m in NSW Australia and flies are absolutely horrible in the warmer months 😣 My 24yo mare has injured herself many times kicking and biting at them. I have used essential oils in coconut oil on legs that help but needs reapplying several times a day to be effective which makes it not very efficient.
